Infoworld is running a virtual conference on Enterprise Architecture in October. The speaker line-up looks good, though there is some irony in David Linthicum talking about "Real-World SOA" in a virtual environment.
I spoke at the RSA Europe conference in 2001 which was run as a "Virtual Conference" because people did want to fly after 9/11. That was run using Web Conferencing technology (LiveMeeting if I recall). Nowadays, Second Life style environments should make a virtual conference a lot more compelling. So, I'll be "there" at the Infoworld conference.
My question is "Will Infoworld run a virtual conference about virtualization?". If that happens, the universe may fold in on itself and implode.
